Measuring Gas Flow

Hands-On Training

The dates for the Gas Flow Training Seminars are as follows:

20/7/07   -  Sydney

31/7/07   -  Adelaide

8/8/07     -  Melbourne

14/8/07   -  Perth

After an oversubscribed successful series of interactive sessions earlier this year, Endress+Hauser's training gas flow rig will be back in Australia mid-July.

Although various gases are widely used and distributed in many industrial processes, its accurate flow measurement requires a good understanding of the various flow measurement technologies.

Endress+Hauser is one of the world's leading suppliers for solutions in gas measurement. This unique training flow rig features controlled, variable volumes of air flow pumped through pipework to which are attached four different flow measuring technologies: Thermal Dispersion, orifice plate with dp, Vortex and Coriolis. Each technology has a specific application window. By changing the flow rates on the flow rig, participants are able to identify, first-hand, which technologies work best at what flow rate and with what accuracy. The technologies built into the rig use principles that apply to all gases, steam and liquids.

Topics covered in this training are:
Selecting the correct flow measuring technology.
Installation Do's and Don'ts.
Hands-on training: Experience the strengths and limitations of different technologies, installation effects and application influences.
Utility gases - from measurement to management. How to improve efficiency in gas usage.

These training sessions will be presented by Matthias Schuerch, Flow Product Manager, Endress+Hauser Australia. Register right away as places are limited.
