Pressure measurement with dry running vacuum pumps
Common vacuum pumps require fuel such as oil, water or steam which, in the end, gives rise to costs due to their use or disposal.
Thus the chemical and pharmaceutical industries often use dry-running vacuum pumps. The dry-running Sterling vacuum pump "Sihidry"

With a choice of ceramic or polysilicon capacitive sensors, Cerabar S pressure transmitters from Endress+Hauser, Greenwood, Indiana,
handle a wide range of pressures and environments. Ceramic diaphragms withstand extremely corrosive and abrasive conditions from
